24th WCD

The 24th World Congress of Dermatology takes place 10-15 June 2019 in Milan, Italy.

The World Congress of Dermatology is one of the most widely recognised international dermatology meetings.

Held every four years, under the auspices of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), the Congress has a 130 year history of bringing together the dermatological community to share clinical experiences and scientific advances.

The first Congress was held in 1889 in Paris and in 2019 the Italian Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Disease Association (SIDeMaST) brings the Congress to Milan. The Congress welcomes over 14,000 delegates to partake in over 150 sessions covering 43 topic areas.

This is a truly global meeting, with delegates coming from more than 140 countries. In addition to which 1,200 scholarships were provided to support international representation within the Congress Programme, with 80% provided for individuals from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Together we will make 2019 a new era for global dermatology.
